Our Leeds community support initiatives
As a family-owned business, we’ve always believed that success is measured by the positive difference we make in the world. Our Leeds community support initiatives reflect this belief. Whether through the care we show our people, the trust we build with customers, or the impact we have on the communities around us, we are committed to uplifting everyone we reach.
Supporting Local Charities
At MPCC, supporting St Gemma’s Hospice means a lot to us. A close family friend recently turned to them for care, and the compassion they received deeply moved us. To give back, our team has been fundraising through internal events, attending charity initiatives, and offering our logistics expertise to help their operations.
We also volunteer at Leeds South and East Foodbank, assisting with sorting, packing, and collecting food donations in our local area of Leeds to help families in need.
Sponsoring Local Sports Clubs
Football has always been part of our family’s story. With many of us playing grassroots football at a high level, the sport taught us teamwork, passion, and perseverance.
Sponsoring both Leeds United and Wortley Juniors is about continuing that legacy. We’re proud to support the nurturing of young talent, and that our community sees a Leeds company sponsoring their local team! Its our way of giving back to the game that’s been at the heart of our journey from day one.
Sustainability Initiatives
It’s not about making big claims, it’s about working towards sustainable change, even if the steps are small to begin with.
MPCC has partnered with Ecologi since 2023, contributing a portion of our profits to plant trees, reduce CO2 emissions, and fund climate action projects. Alongside this, we’re actively improving our internal sustainability practices, focusing on energy efficiency and waste reduction.
